How it works
The value of a bookmark is not just that you saved something. It is that you can find it again without rescrolling. Per-message granularity is what makes the difference at scale.
Hover any user prompt or assistant reply to reveal a star icon, then click to bookmark it. The star is per-message, not per-thread.
Open the Bookmarks tab in the GPT Master right panel. It shows the current conversation's starred messages plus an All Bookmarks view across every chat.
Click a bookmark to jump straight to that message in the current conversation, or open the original chat from the All view.
What this looks like in practice
A developer has been pair-debugging a tricky concurrency bug with ChatGPT across a 500-message thread. Three replies in that thread contain the actual answer: one diagnosed the root cause, one proposed the fix, and one explained why the obvious alternative would fail. Without bookmarks, returning to any of those three answers means scrolling and using Ctrl+F. With GPT Master, the developer starred each of those three replies. A small star appears next to each ChatGPT message when you hover over it. Click the star to bookmark that message. Open the GPT Master right panel and switch to the Bookmarks tab to see two lists: bookmarks in the current conversation and bookmarks across all conversations.
